Is it possible to operate a Majestic Gas Fireplace Model 33BDVR during a power outage by connecting some level of battery power to the ignition module?

If your fireplace has the Honeywell Ignition module as I believe it does, then the answer is NO, it can not be operated with any type of battery without converting back to 120VAC. If it has the push button Piezo ignitor then yes it can be run with out a battery or power. However, You will still have no blower again without 120VAC.

It is not important enough to install & maintain a generator. I was hopeful a battery could keep the fire operating even though it would not operate the fan. Thanks. BertComment

Has anyone had an occurrence of a Laser 730 or 731 over firing?
The top of the heat chamber and the heat exchanger glow red on high when this occurs....
