  • Bryant 350 MAV - Replacing collector box drain tube

The lower collector box drain tube on my furnace is leaking water due to cracking. My local HVAC shop sells a rubber hose replacement kit for $85.00. That's too much. So, they told me to use the upper hose in place of the lower hose. But I found that one to be cracking also.

What kind of hose product can I use as a more cost effective alternative? How do I remove the inducer housing for better access to these hoses?

Your help is very important to me since water could possibly leak on the circuit board.

could you show me some pic. of these hose's? I just go to the hardware and buy a good clear heavy tubing so it won't kink when you curve it. Paul
