    New Unit

Can anyone tell me if they know anything about Weatherking, it's made by Rheem/Ruud and as far as I can gather they both have scroll compresser only difference is one by Bristol and the other by Copeland. Not sure about any other parts. This would be to replace a unit that has gone bad. It will be a 4 ton unit. The warranty is the same for all 5 yr. parts.

Whats the Q ???? then. They will give you a compressor for it in exchange if its 4 years old. Or exchange it out to a hvac tech. I like the Bristol. But its like what is the one you have, thats the one you get back

My question is... which would you use, the Weatherking or Rheem/Ruud unit for overall quality

Id Go TRANE then lennox then RHEEM then RUUD.
If you go all Trane you can get 10 years warranty on it all parts

When comparing Weatherking, Rheem and Ruud, there really is no apprecable differences, they are all three good mid priced units of almost identical quality.
