My Amana furnace fan stays on after the air conditioner unit has shut off. It used to run for a few seconds after the compressor shut off but now it doesn't stop unless you cut the juice to it. The White-Rogers thermostat seems to have OK batteries in it. Any clues? Thanks for you help.

It sounds like you probably have a fan relay stuck in the closed position. You would have to replace the fan relay. -

The fan relay and fan limit contol should be two separate switches, however on some units they use a combined fan and limit control.
If you open the control section of your furnace there should be a wiring schematic pasted on the inside of the cover.Comment
