    remove steam radiator

I'm remodeling a bathroom in a house with single-pipe steam heat. It's a small bathroom (5'x10') and I'll get a lot of useable space if I remove the radiator. How hard is it to cap off the steam feed? Is there any reason not to just replace it with a ceiling or in-wall electric heater?

If it is a single pipe to the radiator there should be no problem with removing the heater, then removing the pipe back to a convenient point and putting a pipe cap on the end of the pipe. Just be sure to use Pipe Dope when you install the cap.
