Furnace blower running even when furnace is off

Help please....Carrier 58PAV furnace blower continues running even when furnace is completely off! Comes on for approximately 5 minutes shuts off for about 5 -10 minutes and comes back on and so on...

check your high - low limit in the air plenum. it operates on a proportional band between two set points. because hot air rises, even with the burner off residual heat works its way up and sets off the fan limit.
