  • Rheem 13AJL30 2.5 TON or Bryant 113A 2.5 TON?

    Which is the best purchase and why? Looking to put in central air and need opinions before purchase. In my estimates I have gotten there is only a 200 dollar difference

    choice is really yours. what you can afford. I would look into ease of obtaining servicing, ease at getting repair parts, extent of warranty. check into using environmentally friendly R-134a. R-22 and R-12 is getting increasingly hard to come by.

      In air con. they don't use 134a, they use the 410a. later paul

        they use 134a in my car a/c! my 5,000 Btu in my bedroom uses 134a.

          134a is used in car and window a/c's. Not in residential a/c units.
