  • monitor 442 fan problem

Hi all, have a monitor kero 442 heater and the fan runs constantly. I plugged it in and the "on" button was not even on and the fan was running. Turned it on got it running and up to temp then shut it down and fan never went off.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?
    Thanks

        M 422 or M441

When the circulating fan runs continuously you have either missed wired the overheat/ fan thermostat or switched the snap switches. The over heat and fan thermostats look alike but they are completely different. The overheat switches should show continuity on your meter. The fan thermostat should show an open.
