  • The fuel pump not working on monitor 422

    Hi to all,
My heater set for over 2 years without use, now the pump will not kick in???
I tried the pump on monitor 21 and it's working, so that eliminate the pump is bad.
Did the same the same thing with the safety switch (the round one near the fuel pump) and it's working.
Switched the blower and tested it on the 21 and no issues.
I cleaned all the ports, there's no blockage anywhere, and yes the pot gets warm so the igniter is not the issue,
What else do I need to check?
    Please help me out here.
    Thank you

Make sure the flame sensor is not touching the burner ring.

check the fuel path. just because the pump clicks doesn't mean much. check the entire fuel path. take off the fuel pipe from the combustion pot, hold over a jar and try starting the unit. you should see spurts of fuel coming out of the fuel line. the pulsing should pick up in speed when it calls for high heat (speed) while you are this far, use a one eigth drill to clean out this end of the fuel line. dont use the drill under power twisting by the fingers is enough.
