This can happen to a Laser 56 heater. The carbon will build up and shut off the fuel to the burner. The Error Code will be EE 2. You may trouble shoot the problem and find a good igniter and plenty of fuel. There will be no noise from the pump. The pump will be pumping but just circulating the fuel around through the siphon break pipe. Sometimes you can run a paper clip into the nozzle and break up the carbon. This time I could not break the carbon and no fuel would flow to the burner.
