I'm not sure; but I think I used some Fiberglass resin that had been frozen. It was darker than usual & now it won't completely harden. Any Ideas? Thanks

Did you mix the correct amount of the catalyst hardiner in the resin before use?

fiberglass resins have a definite shelf life. there should be a date stamped or printed on the can. the tubed epoxies in a hardware store have "use by" dates on them.

I was working on a 67 'vette ( many moons ago) and didn't use enough hardener and after a week it still didn't harden and had to remove all the fiberglass I had laid - what a mess. Never did that again.

acetone and lacquer thinner will dissolve the resin that hasn't hardened. companies make a co-polymer hardener that reacts with the base resin. methyl ethyl ketone [MEK] is part of the catylist that is used for the hardener.
