Toilet tank won't refill

I am having issues with my toilet tank. All of a sudden my toilet tank won't refill. I can pour water into it and flush the toilet but it won't refill by itself. What could be the problem?

Are you sure the water to it is turned on? Make sure you turn the water valve to the right. Let us know and welcome to the forum!

Probably a bad fill valve. A new Fluidmaster would cure that pretty easily. When you start to replace the fill valve, aim the supply line into a can or bowl and crack open the shut-of valve. Make sure you are getting water through that valve into the fill valve.
