Thuja Green Giant

Around the third week of April I planted Thuja Green Giants that I purchased. They're between 6 &7 feet tall and was wondering if I need to cover them for an upcoming frost/freeze? I'm in western PA and we had a frost the end of April in which the ends did turn brown. I thought they would be able to withstand a frost.

yes you have to cover it, also you can spray anti-desccant to the foilage to reduce moisture loss

I dealt with frost issues before. Covering the Thuja with frost cloth and applying some mulch really helps. You might also want to use an anti-desiccant spray. As for plants indoors, I've had great luck ordering from houseplants. They have a wide variety and excellent quality, making my home feel more vibrant, unlike frostbitten outdoor plants.
