Just installed new ignitor, now I don't have gas flow. Can someone help

Is this a 80 or 90 percent furnace? What happens on call for heat?
Is the glow bar heating up? Was the old glow bar bad. On most units gas only comes on for 6 seconds so how do you know you are not getting gas?
Does glow lite a pilot or main burner?
