My oil tanks gauge is broken/ missing so i would like to get it replaced. I called my oil company and they said $99 plus parts which i think is insane. Any idea who i can call to compare prices? Would it just be another oil company?

go to a hardware or big box store and pick up one for $18. use a 24 inch pipe wrench to remove the old one and just screw the new on in the bung hole -
The only thing in there now is the float and its an older tank. Looks a little worn and rusted. I would rather a professional do it. Any idea who can?Comment
