Trane TODU080C936BO Gas flame keeps going out but fan keeps running

Hi, thanks for having this forum. Gas flame keeps going out but fan keeps running even though the furnace has not achieved set point. The Fan switch is in Auto. Can someone please help? Thanks!

I'm fairly ignorant of these things even though I used to work for a gas company Is the flame rod the one that glows and ignites the gas? When the flame goes out I can hear the valve click shut. I can't smell any unburned gas.

Thanks HayZee518, I did some internet research and found the flame rod. It was dirty around the insulator. The rod itself was clean. So far so good. I think it's fixed.
