Furnace lights, shuts off after 10 sec

Hello!
My furnace kicks on, lights, then the flame goes off after about 10 sec. It tries again, and then will shut down completely. After this, you have to manually restart it to get it to kick back on.

bad flame detector. if the furnace is oil then clean or replace the cad cell. If after repeated shut offs, the lockout relay trips.

I am assuming this is a gas furnace, if so remove the flame sensor which is a metal rod located in the front of either the far right burner or far left burner, clean with a piece of sandcloth, reinstall and this should take care of your problem
