My four year old Lennox gas furnace began making a very high pitch noise; it lasts from start-up to shut off. This is a self-contained unit so there aren't any oil ports. What do you recommend? Thanks.

My AC runs constantly but the house still sits around 80 when it's 115 outside. Unit's maybe 8 years old.
Is it time for a new AC unit?
