no spark

15 year old lennox central heat/air outside 5 ton unit. got fas to valve , when I try to start heater chamber blower starts, and then I hear a click, but get no gas ignition, how do I tell if problem is in valve or ignitor?

look at the ignitor - if you see a spark then look towards the pilot valve
