I have a 19 year old Carrier gas furnace. Most of the time it works fine but sometimes the fan does not cut off after the house reaches the setting of the thermostat.

    Does your furnace have a
Honeywell round dial fan switch. If so if you take the cover off there are
setting on the round dial. the fan on would be set at about 120 degrees, and the fan off might be set at 90 degrees. So turn off power switch and hang on to the round dial and move the fan off up from 90 to 95 and try that. When the bi metal get old, it gets weak and you have to readjust them. Later Paul
