    combustion motor on 2200 mpi

Can one change the bearings on the combustion motor or does anyone have a good used one?
I rebuilt my 2200 and still get a yellow flame after start up. The motor makes a squeaking noise that i cant hear and if you take the damper out the flame is blue longer before going yellow

    M2200 combustion motor

You may have more luck with the M2200 motor than I have had. The motor is put together with rivets not screws. You will have to find some small bolts and nuts to put the motor cases back together with. I have not had any luck with M2200 and M2400. The stators are pressed into the halves, and are very hard to get apart. I could not get them back straight. A new motor costs about $150 or so.

      Bearings

I have done a few 2400 bearings and they are a bit more work. Be careful of the small magneti - don't break it and the rivets do have drilled and a lot of prying to get the case apart but it can be done!
