    Monitor 41 shutdown, picturs

My monitor 41 worked OK last season and for a couple days this season. Yesterday I started it up and it shutdown on me. Since there are easy to take apart, I dismantled it and took some pictures. The burner ring is warped but it did not appear to be touching the flame rod. It would run with a nice flame but then shutdown on medium. Is there any test I can do to avoid rebuilding the burn pot right away?

The simple answer is No. The mat has a spot that is missing and that is causing the soot on the flame sensor. New mat, ring at minimum.
