If your Laser 30 or L300 sits unused all summer and will not fire up in the fall, there is a chance the fuel nozzle is blocked with carbon. Over the off season, carbon can harden in the nozzle and block fuel flow.
The flow can be blocked completely, or it can be partially blocked.
If partially blocked the stove may start and run normal until the High setting. When trying to run on the High setting, fuel will come into the nozzle at such a rate it will fill the nozzle and create a blockage. If this happens the stove will cycle off on an E 6 message.
If this is the case you will need to ream the nozzle clean. It takes a very small drill bit or thin piece of wire to clean the nozzle out. The bit or piece of wire will need to be about 3 inches long. Once clear the stove should operate normally.
