Laser 300 and Laser 530 peep window screws are very hard to get out. If they have been installed for a long period of time the threads can strip and the screw will not come out. The other problem is, if the stove is new, the screws can get cross threaded in the hole. If this happens and you force the screw, you can break the head off.
If the screw is stripped you may have to cut the head off and use a set of vice grips to get the shaft out. If the head comes off, and you have enough of the shaft exposed, you can use vice grips to grab the shaft and work it off. If the head comes off flush with the chamber, you will have to drill the shaft out, to get it removed.
Once removed, you can go back together with 2 ea. Screw 1T (20478090).
If the stove has much time on it the peep window will be hazed over and need to be changed. It is almost assured the gasket will fall apart upon removal. Because the gasket is so fragile, you may have to use two. One on the burner side and one on the cover side. This will give a little cushion to the gaskets. Hopefully they won’t fall apart while installed.
