  • Bryant plus 90 - water in unit

Does anyone have any idea why after 15 years of running very well, our Bryant plus 90 has started filling up with water and pours out on to the basement floor whenever it rains hard? The furnace man has changed a couple of hoses and also flushed the system and checked the condensate drain. All that is good. Appreciate any positive feedback. Could it have to do with vent pipe bringing water into unit?

follow your vent pipes to the exterior of building and look for any way that water may be getting in. bad rain gutter or downspout ? or some way water is getting in
have you been able to determine where the water comes from in the unit itself ?
