Monitor heater yellow flame

I have just put in new combustion motor bearings and damper o-ring and get a nice blue flame until it goes on high. Is it possible I need to replace the combustion motor?

Do have Spare motors - wonder if anyone else has run into this?

burn ring and burn mat are new, the burn pot has been sandblasted so all air holes are clear.

is there any soot being produced with the yellow flame? I'm assuming you cleaned out the fuel sump in your overhaul process. if you replaced the bearings, why would you replace the motor? it spins up and allows your heater to run in low-med speed.

what is the pressure differential ? did you forget any gaskets ?

Motor does spin but wondered if the motor might not be putting out the rpm's.

Yes I did clean out the sump, have not put my guage on to test the air pressure.

Standard damper, good exhaust. Will check air pressure.

Not had A chance to put my guage on it - factory air guage (magnehelic ) made by dwyer

differential air gauge

you don't need something as exotic as a store bought air gauge. a simple 36 inch water column gauge will do. look online there are sites on how to build one. its called a MANOMETER
