m21 heater quit working, flashing

OK I got it back together today and fired it up, its working now but im getting some rhythmic flaring in the burner pot. I'm assuming maybe fuel is pooling up somewhere where my mat is not fitting properly? Any insight? I thought I did a good job with the mat.

Live with it for a short while. You may have used too much glue on the mat or you have a spot on the mat that has lifted. If it does not clear up after a week you may have to do the mat again.

OK, thanks, the flaring went away and its running smooth now. I was getting nervous. I guess it just needed to break in. Thanks all for the help getting this thing going. It only took about 2 years LOL.
