Is it possible to replace the combustion motor bearings in a BS-36UFF-A? Mine sounds a little different than it used to. I saw that a replacement motor was $300+

Yes, you can replace the bearings on a BS 36 motor. I don't have the bearing number right handy. The shaft is much bigger than the Laser heater motor, so it is easier to get them off. Don't lose the thrust ring whne you take the motor apart.

Thanks for the information. It would be really helpful if you could come up with the bearing number. Otherwise, I'll have to take the motor apart twice; once for the number & again to replace them.
